The formation and various disintegration modes of $2s$ states for muonic hydrogen deuterium atoms at kinetic energies both above below the $2s\text{\ensuremath{-}}2p$ threshold are studied. cross sections collision-induced radiative quenching, elastic scattering, Coulomb deexcitation ${({\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}p)}_{2s}$ ${({\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}d)}_{2s}$ in collisions with ordinary collision calculated framework close-coupling approach. basis set includes all open closed channels corresponding to exotic-atom principal quantum number $n$ from 1 up 30. Results these numerical quantum-mechanical calculations used as input data detailed cascade calculations. kinetics atomic ${\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}p$ ${\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}d$ is studied wide range relative target densities, $\ensuremath{\varphi}={10}^{\ensuremath{-}8}\ensuremath{-}1$ applying improved version model. It shown that quenching gives a significant contribution total state threshold. initial population atoms, absolute intensities, probabilities different well their lifetimes fractions obtained results compared known experimental data.
